I am knitting up a shawl but I don’t think I’m doing it right as the holes created by the yarn overs are very small and don’t look like the photo.
The pattern is Beach Pebble Shawl by Helen Stewart Ravelry: Designs by Helen Stewart
The main pattern is as follows;
1: WS: K2,p1,yo, purl to last 3 sts, yo, p1, K2
2: RS: K3, KYOK, K to last 4 sts, KYOK, K3
3: WS: K2,p1,yo, purl to last 3 sts, yo, p1, K2
4: RS:K3, KYOK, K2, yo, K2tog, K2 to last 5 sts before end, K1, KYOK, K3

Remember that it will open up quite a lot after blocking when it’s finished
