I’m not even sure what to call it. The hats that were so popular this past fall… the ones that have a scarf coming off the hat and mitten like pockets on the ends? Can anyone help please? Thanks!!
Something like this?
Heres a great website for ten different patterns (all free) I have made some of them and they work out really well! Hope I helped! Just to let you know there are a variation of knit and crochet patterns there.

That’s exactly it, except I need an adult sized one! Thanks so much… perhaps I can modify this one.
Those are great! Thank you!
If you do a search on ravelry for “hat scarf” you will be able to sift through the results to find something that you are interested in knitting. For the mittens (pockets), I’m sure that you will be able to find someone here happy to help you work out the details on how to add them; you may need to add length to the scarf to have it be long enough to accommodate the placement of the mittens.
An even better search on ravelry is for “hood scarf”

Wow! Now I want to knit one.
Thanks for the link, Claire. That was a fun look even if it is still 76 F and it’s almost 10 p.m. At least it’s not still 90 F! I did a hood and scarf thing in red and my GD laid claim to it and wears it. I think it was the Red Riding Hood pattern. The Magical Hoodini caught my eye. I like the cowls too.
Claire, (May I call you Claire?) That link is incredible!!! Thank you so much!!!
Glad you enjoyed the link :happydance: And yes, you may call me Claire.
GG - I checked out the magical hoodini and look at this one, done in sock yarn it is almost a plaid. As my grandma used to say “wowie”.

I the cowls too.
Wowie is right! Someday I might actually try knitting plaid. It’s still too too hot to seriously think about hoods, scarves, cowls. I’m not even wanting to work on the cape I have going. You know, I got some natural fingering yarn on a cone form WEBS that might be fun to make up in a cowl or something.
