Pattern for baby booties

Hello, I have one baby bootie which I knitted years ago. The pattern was perfect - it was a super shape and would stay on. It was mostly garter stitch but with moss stitch in a band which would sit against the ankle. I now have grandchildren (twins) on the way and have searched high and low for this or a very similar very pattern on the internet but cannot find one. If I sent some close up pictures of the bootie could someone clever write me a pattern? In hope!

P.S I believe it was the moss stitch band that helped it to stay on as it drew the shape in

Congratulations on the coming twins! That’s terrific news.
These might work with the insertion of moss stitch at the ankles.

Booties that actually stay on baby’s feet are a real find.

What intrigues me is that I cannot find the actual pattern - anywhere! I think it must have been in a book I borrowed from the library all those years ago - 2010 onwards.

So frustrating to try to find these patterns. I had a book that was shaped like a sock and contained several baby booties patterns but it’s long gone. Ravelry and online searches turn up many cute patterns with a cuff to keep them on.
Have fun whatever you decide to do and enjoy many more projects for these grandchildren!

Hi
You’ve left your number on the previous post. Perhaps it’s an autosignature you havent turned off.
The bots and everyone else can see it, i suggest deleting asap.

Sorry, I’m no help with socks but good luck in your search and congrats on the expected grand-twins!

Thank you, I don’t know why that happened - it must be an autosignature. I have deleted it. x
