I wish there were more really good ones of me in my Ginny costume…I haven’t seen one were you can really get a good look at the skirt…

Did someone make your robes and ties or did you have to buy them?

Congratulations!!! Thanks for posting the pics! :yay:

Bambi

No I bought the robes and tie…(I did want to knit our ties, but at the time I looked, there were no nice patterns around)

I like to use http://www.whimsicalley.com/ for all my Harry Potter stuff…

Crycket–

coming from the time of the dinosaurs (i’m 43, soon to be 44), where you wore white, had a traditional sit down reception…i LOVED your photos…you and the hubby look so happy together, and i bet you had the most fun wedding of the year!

congrats and many many years of happiness! if i were to offer any words of wisdom…you’ll need a sense of humor. trust me! <g>

Yeah…I didn’t want anything to be too traditional, although my mom say to it that some things were…but it was fun…and I thought I would like a dress that will serve its purpose for more than one night. I will be able to wear that again sometime, without looking like I just got married…

I consider myself a pretty easy going person, and him too…there is nothing I am not willing to talk about, or talk through…and I think that is a good start…

Here are a few more pics…

Congrats- and what a BEAUTIFUL wedding and fun reception. I had a fall wedding too- gorgeous time of year. I love both of your outfits!

Congratulations!
