My prayers are with your family.
Oh, I’m so sorry to read this! My thoughts and prayers are with you, Adam and everyone else involved.
What a blessing in all this that you know already that his hand will be saved.
May he heal well and quickly.
Love,
We got good news at the ortho doc today! Adam’s crushed metacarpal bone at the base of his thumb will not require any surgery or pins to heal properly. The joints at either end of the bone are in good shape, and all the shards fell right in place, not scattered around. So it can heal on its own with a good casting - which was also done today. He’ll have it removed in a week to take out the stitches, and then put another one on for continued healing. He’s going to be just fine!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS! This is proof that they work!!!
I’m so glad you got good news today… continued prayers for a fast recovery!!!

My son went back to the doctor for a check-up today. More good news! The cast came off. He’s in a black lace-up/velcro splint and will do physical therapy for a couple of weeks. He’s mending nicely! Hallelujah!
What a blessing! Praise God for his healing!
