Family game night on a gaming system?
I think I need it more hands on and REAL (like actually tossing the dice). Why not just pull out the ACTUAL board games?!

For those with the wii fit - is your wii fit age close to your actual age most or even some of the time? I’ve only been at it for 6 days, and my age has ranged from 16 under to 18 over, close only once.
And I’m getting a little tired of being called ‘unbalanced’!

Yeah i’m unbalanced too–and don’t youhate when the screen comes up "that isn’t your forte’! aargh! my fit age is usually between 7- to 11 years OVER, bummer, but one day i hit 55, and i am 68. I have only been at it about 7 days. Do enjoy it tho. linknit41

We got a Wii in 2008 for my daughter’s graduation from high school. We also own all the PlayStation flavors, XBox and XBox 360.

I love the WiiFit and do yoga on it daily to stretch. It’s helped my frozen shoulder… some, but it’s just fun and relaxing. I will still keep up with it when I start back swimming when the doc gives me the go ahead next month.

I tease my kids that I’m just waiting for the WiiKnit to come out.

I realize I am the odd person out here, but I really don’t like the Wii. The only gaming system I ever owned was an Atari - and the only games I played were frogger, river raid, pac-man and enduro. I would babysit for people who had Nintendo and I could be creamed by a 6 y/o. While home for Thanksgiving playing the Wii at my brothers house, my niece declared me “the worstest player.” I have no desire to learn to be better at it either…oh well

Nope. It told my 3 year old (skinny active girlie) that her Wii fit age was 5. Does that mean she’s ‘balanced’, or heavy?

Don’t dare get on mine, not been on for ages, dont want it to get into the glaring read zone

Strange though, I bowl on a Wii the same way I bowl in reality. It goes wrong in exactly the same way. Bizarre.

I was the only person in my family whose WiiFit age was lower than my actual age (which may explain my love affair with the Wii).

Last night my youngest skunked me in a Sonic Game… that I taught her to play on the old Sega Genesis back in the day. Young upstart. And she totally smoked me in a driving game. I am the suck at those.

Sounds like your 3 yr old is good at the balance ‘tests’.
I find the ‘wii age’ annoying, since it’s often a test of my controller ineptitude.
Funny about the bowling. Have you tried the 100-pin on wii sports resort? It’s a riot.

Angela - I’d try wiiKnit if it came out (ha ha).

Despite the annoying test results & comments on the screen, I’m still having a riot with the actual games and activities. I’ve never been into other gaming systems but play these individually or with my teens.
