OT: Birthday cards for boy with leukemia

I came across this and thought I post it to see if anyone was interested. I just thought it’d be nice to help get the word out. This littel boy with leukemia is looking to break the world record for birthday cards. Please note though if you do decide to send a card, it takes 2 stamps.

I didn’t even think to see if it was true or not…but I’m glad it is and hope he gets enough cards (I mailed mine out this morning!)

There is a huge drive for birthday cards for Shane in Ottawa.

You can drop them off at any WalMart or at a couple of the radio stations.

I personally feel totally blessed with 3 healthy (knock wood) children.

My daughters school, participated and each child made a card. All 850 of them. :slight_smile:

I hope he gets the record. :slight_smile:
