Phentex Slipper and Craft Yarn is still available to purchase through the Bernat Yarn website. Every skein of Phentex yarn has a slipper pattern on the label. When I recently bought 15 skeins, I got about 9 different patterns!

There is also a great pattern book by Phentex, called ā€œFun Family Slippersā€.

I just recently made some menā€™s loafers, using a pattern from that book.

I have a crochet pattern for mittens using the Phentex yarn which was 2 ply Capri. At the time I used a similar yarn but canā€™t find it, and I was surfing the web and found Phentex yarn in several online sites. I used the yarn to make large ruffled dishdmops.

I have attached the pattern for the mittens.

You can order Phentex from Walmart 3oz./85g, JoAnnā€™s and Michaels. All or online orders, however Walmart was the best price and they will send your order to your store for pickup. I believe this will eliminate the shipping charge.

I have some skeins of ā€œoldā€ phentex that is over 45 years old. Not great colours to choose from but I think that there is royal blue, gold and brown for sure
