Nothing fancy, just a garter stitch one piece sweater. I haven’t blocked this yet and I am going to get my grandson a white turtleneck from Land’s End with his initials on the collar to go under this so I think it will look cute.

Lovely…lucky grandson :cheering:
That turned out so nice! I love the way the colors just blend right together.
That’s beautiful. I love the colors. :cheering:
This looks ideal for a quick gift?
Is this from a pattern, or your own design?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA me do a design! Sorry, it is from a pattern, though I did make some changes so it was a bit of my own I guess. I changed the pattern because I wanted something I could work up really fast so instead of the stitch this women used, I did it all in garter stitch. I also made the sleeves smaller. It is for a boy and though the pattern says child, a girl is wearing the finished sweater and she rolled the sleeves up and they are bell shaped. I thought it would look sissy for a boy to have a sweater like that so I just made the sleeves narrower and fixed the pattern to accomodate that.
Here you go! http://margarethubertoriginals.com/newpage2.htm
Oh!! That’s nice–lovely colors
Thanks!
(Modifying a pattern stitch and sleeves TOTALLY counts ;))
Your grandson will be quite the little man in his new sweater and turtleneck. You’re a good granny!
Yours looks so much better than the pattern pic! I have to try this kind of sideways knitting pattern.
