not understanding repeating rounds of lace?

hello everyone ~

I am currently working on the Mysterium Tee by Dear Ingenue, and it is my first time knitting lace in the round (and making a wearable top!).
At the lace section of the body, it says: “Work Lace Chart in 20 (22, 24, 26, 28) {30, 32, 34, 36}
reps per rnd, three times, for a total of 30 rnds.”

Does this mean I am going through all the rounds one at a time, three times? Or each round three times? I.e is it the order: round 1, round 1, round 1, round 2, round 2… OR is it round 1, round 2, round 3, round 4…start again at the start round 1…

I hope this makes sense.
Thank you :slight_smile:

Hi Sterni_knits
It is nice tee you are making
You will have repeat first row of lace chart 22 times.
Than continue following chart from row 1 to row 10 of chart.
Knit 2 more whole lace chart of total 30 rows
Hope I manage to explain

You’re going to do Rows 1-10 of the chart once, then twice, then a third time. Each round consists of 22 repeats of the lace pattern.

It sounds like you should work through the entire lace chart from start to finish, one round at a time, for three full repetitions. This means you would do round 1, round 2, round 3, etc., until you complete the chart. Then, you start over at round 1 and repeat the entire sequence two more times, making a total of three passes through the chart for 30 rounds overall.

The lace chart you are using has a certain number of rounds. In this case, you will have to knit each round of the chart by repeating the same sequence 20, 22, 24, etc. times (depending on the size you are making) on a single round of your work.
