Not sure how to do this

Hello all! New to the forum and I’m about to pull my hair out trying to figure out this sequence…nothing I do seems to work.

Pattern calls for k1, YO, p2tog, k1

No matter how I wrap the yarn for the yarn over, it doesn’t seem to look right. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Always include a link to the pattern if you have it because it would help us help you.

Because you have a YO before a purl you’ll need to bring the yarn forward then wrap it again. Now do the p2tog and you’ll see your YO.

Knit 1, bring the yarn to the front, then over the needle to the back and to the front again to p2tog.
