Hi.I;am kinda stuck on this part of the instructions from the pattern North Country Cotton Baby socks.It says"Using a new needle,pick up and knit8 sts along the otherside of the heel and continue knittingto the center of the heel sts(3 sts)(needle 3).There should now be 11 sts on needles 1 and 3 and 12 sts on needle 2.’'What does this mean?.
That’s the way you have to pick up stitches to make the sock in the round again. Here’s a tutorial on sock making. The page I’ve linked to is the “picking up stitches for the gusset” page. See if this helps then you can come back with questions.
It helped me abit the website but i’am still confused.
How about these directions? This is from my sock class.
Whoa…now why didn’t I think of your class. :doh::doh::doh:
Silly silly Jan.
