Newbie knitter trying to understand pattern

Hello, I am absolutely in love with a cardigan pattern but really really struggling to make sense of the yoke section. I have tried to use chat gpt but after knitting it, it doesn’t look right, the holes are massive. I have attached the chart and the instructions and also what chat GPT said, any help would be amazing. I am doing the first size. I can really only following patterns that are written out stitch by stitch.

What chat GPT said:

You have enough stitches, so do lace once, then knit the rest.

Welcome to the forum!

When you say the holes are large do you mean the yarn overs or have you separated for the sleeves and body?
For the yoke you need to place the markers as directed in the Divide for Raglan section. These are placed on a purl row. The Yoke starts with a RS row, following the chart for the lace pattern and increasing at the same time before the marker at the 2 raglan sts and after the marker (increasing either side of the raglan sts, outside the markers).
For the chart, row 1 begins at the bottom right for the RS (right side) rows. The edge sts aren’t included in the chart so you might put a different color marker on them as a reminder.
Since the chart is worked at the same time as the increases, the pattern is telling you that sts 4 or 11 will be centered on the fronts and back.
Stitch one on the needle is the edge stitch and is not counted on the chart, knit that edge stitch. Then begin the chart with chart square 4.

There’s a nice intro to charts if that’s causing a problem with the yoke:

One request. We can’t post large portions of patterns on the forum due to designer copyright. Please delete all but the page with the Yoke and the chart. That’s all we need.

I can’t view the pattern page because my security software says it could be a fake storefront. So I wonder if it’s a AI pattern that might not be accurate?
