I’m hoping my person got her package. It was sent awhile ago, but I’ve not heard anything from her. She’s not a frequent poster here, but she’s not even responded to the emails I sent.
I can only hope the next swap I join goes a little better on my end…I hate it when life pokes it’s nose into my yarn habit.
I have a package and am point the BIG finger of shame to the mail man. Why it wasn’t in my box on Saturday is beyond me.
But I did get some nice yarn. There are 2 skeins each of the lion fun fur in saphire and the Dream.
I also got a package of needle coils and stitch markers. I’m excited to try the socks in the book.

I am so happy and excited to tell you that my swap fairy Mary (mwhite) came through for me big time. I arrived home from visiting a friend and there was a box waiting for me. It was so full of goodies, yarns, knitting accessories and even a pot of narcissus to bring me a touch of spring. What a kind and generous person she is. After a let down by my original partner, Mary has really made my day. I will take a photo and post again tomorrow.

Loved helping with this situation and I was so totally blown over yesterday, when I got home, in my mailbox was a pattern for the precious doll, cradle/bag and sleeping bag that Susan did for her granddaughter. I hurried into the house and quickly emailed her to let her know, lo and behold, she’d gotten her pkg. from me on the same day! :teehee: Life is so funny sometimes, isn’t it? :psst: Everyone, Susan is a SUPER SWEETIEPIE!

You are really right Mary, I guess I should have said the friends I actually see on an almost daily basis. I have seen a few VIRTUAL friendships formed on message boards go very sour, and I guess that is why I to think of them a little differently.
What a wonderful package I love the yarn and the rowcounter is so nice. You may have to post a pick when your plant comes to bloom
Friends are people who are there for you , who listen and make you laugh . A good morning and how are you email a day can go a long way:)

I also received a Knitpickers yarn holder, beautiful stitch markers, a journal, Grumperina’s Jaywalkers sock pattern and a beautful hand knit scarf!
