Hi! I am new to this forum and hoping someone can help me out as I conquer knitting a lace shawl for the first time using a Drops chart following Ivory Dream / DROPS 201-20 - Free knitting patterns by DROPS Design
I am not quite sure how to read the first row of A.3-A.4?? I am working from the RS. After the yarn over I have knit 8 stitches but not sure if that is correct because of where the next yarn over falls? After the 8 knit stitches I was going to YO and then for the first box that has a diagonal line slip 1 st as if to knit, then next box knit 1 and pass the slipped st over the knitted stitche I just created. Then knit the last stitch in the A.4 section. Is this correct? Thank you for any help, I very much appreciate it!!
