Row 1 (Right Side): K1, P1, K3, [sl5P wyif, K5] twice, sl5P wyif, K3, P1, K1.

WYIF= With yarn in front.

When you wyif - make sure you go between the needles & not over them or you’ll make a new stitch.

Have fun.

In this instance, it means move your yarn to the front before you slip the sts, then move it to the back to knit the next sts.

Sl5P wyif: Slip 5 stitches purlwise with yarn in front. i.e., move the yarn to the front of your work (by going between the two needles), then slip the next 5 stitches from one needle to the other as if to purl. Remember to slip your yarn to the back (by going between the two needles) before knitting the next stitches.
