New Forum Idea - Pros and Cons to fibers

I am using a Fiber called Reynolds Lite-Lopi
it has basic knitting instructions, but no felting recomendations
and I got it becasue there was a WONDERFUL swatch of Felted fabric
so i am trying to create a bag

and I was wiishing there were a forum here for (for lack of a better term) Personal Fiber Trends, and experiences
like this Lite-Lopi is coarse, scratchy, not fun to work with right now
but he fabric i saw and felt in the store was not as coarse
and I M hoping that this project (that I will post in the FO Forum)
having others experiences to look to, would have been WAY COOL

[color=blue]This is a fantastic idea. :cheering: I love to have ideas for different yarns to use for different projects. For instance I would like to make some “slouch socks” but do not want to use the typical sock yarn… suggestions?

I made a similar suggestion a while back, but nothing ever became of it. :shrug:

We discussed this and for various reasons the forum owners don’t want to add too many different forums and this idea in particular could cause problems for advertisers. You can however start a thread about your question/topic and people can respond there.

Yeah, I like the idea of product reviews in general. I usually just do a search on the yarn name, book, or something similar. When in doubt…post
