Is there a needle holder available, that holds circular needles, maybe in some kind of clear pouch, so you can see them. Or do I just keep putting them all in a zippered pouch and dig through it when I need one?
Yeah, I know, silly question. Just wondering what other knitters do for needle storage.
I actually started making one last week, so it still has to have all the little sizing labels put on it and stuff, but this is what I did…
I just knitted up some wire that i can thread my circs through… it’s a bit sloppy at the moment, but it still needs work so don’t be too harsh. It’s gonna look schmick once it’s finished, I assure you :teehee:
I sewed a circular needle holder from some fabric I had around. Its like the holders for straights, but the pockets are wider. I keep 2-3 sets in each pocket. theres a top flap that folds down, then I wrap it up and tie with a ribbon.
let me see if I have a picture…
Now, I don’t have a ton of individual circs… my denise interchangeables came with a case. but this holds my circs, my crochet needles, a pair of scissors, a folded pattern, and my measuring tape. The only thing I wish I had added was a smaller sealable pocket for stitch markers seaming needles etc. Next time…
