Need some pattern help

I’m about to knit the Flax Sweater by Tin Can Knits. I was confused by the following instruction - either there is a mistake or I am misreading it:

ribbing first method:

The simpler, but less structured, method is to knit

neckline ribbing immediately.

After casting on, work in 1x1 (k1, p1) rib for 0.75

(0.75, 0.75, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1.25, 1.25, 1.25, 1.25,

1.25, 1.25, 1.5, 1.5, 1.5, 1.5)”.

What does “work for .75” etc. mean? It does not say .75 what? Am I missing something obvious here?

Thanks for your help!

The " means inches. So work for .75 inches. It would have been better if they had spelled it out.

There is a you tuber that goes over all the instructions knitting the flax, I found it very informative when I was knitting a baby version. she is iKnits on YourTube and it was 5 years ago, it’s heading is labeled How to knit the Flax sweater part 1, it is in parts. very good instructions. You can look it up by the heading I’m sure.
