Need help with the increase rows for a dress

Hello!

I have started knitting a dress, however the pattern is not clear on which rows I should be increasing on. I’ve knitted 50 rows in stockinette, and now I am told to:

Row 50-200: Increase 1 stitch on each side (2 per inc row) on the 10th stitch, with 4.5X5 tension on the knitting machine or 3.5mm needles (6X6 gauge) 190 rows for XXS-XS 200 rows, for S 210 rows, for M 220 rows for, L 230 rows, for XL-XXL *repeat for two panels*

Does anyone know how I should be increasing this dress? The pattern seems to imply it’s on every row from 50-200 (knit in stockinette), but wouldn’t this flare out too much?

I’ve contacted the creator but haven’t received a response yet.

Welcome to the forum!
I agree that every row is too much. Even if the “10th stitch” should be the “10th row” it still seems like too many increases. Contacting the designer is the best solution here. You might try again because the designer should support the pattern.

I would use every contact means possible (although i dont instagram or tik tok so they are useless to me) . It really shouldn’t be that hard to get in touch and get a reply to your question. And the pattern ought to be clearer.
