Need help with S|1P Turn - Sweater!

Hi all,

I’m currently following a free pattern from Yarnspirations and I’ve got stuck at the turn part. I’m kinda a newbie to knitting although have successfully managed to tackle german short rows thanks to youtube. I’m currently knitting the M size (orange letters) below: Free Sugar Bush Without a Paddle Sweater Knitting Pattern | Yarnspirations

Think I need help with;

  1. Once I’ve slipped the stitch purlwise and turned to the wrong side, do I purl to the end of the round? Or do I do the ‘Next Row’ instruction straight after I’ve turned?
  2. There’s a note to avoid holes. I’ve tried to YouTube a video on this with no success. Does anyone know if it’s referred to as something else and so I may be able to find a video as guidance?

Hi, after you work the first RS row and you sl1p & turn, you move to the next row’s directions, work this row up to the stitch count indicated - 117, sl1 & turn and move on to the next RS row direction. Keep working like this to the last of the directions.
To help avoid a little hole when you come to a previously slipped stitch you pick up the stitch under the slipped stitch, place it on the left needle and knit it with the slipped st like a k2tog.
Hope this helps, enjoy your knitting
Linda
