Need help with crochet pattern -- maybe "pineapple"

I know this is a Knitting Forum, but I need help with a crochet pattern. Does anyone know where I could find the pattern for this? My friend says it’s a “pineapple” pattern.

It looks like a pineapple motif to me. Try this: How to Crochet the Pineapple Stitch: A FREE Tutorial. If that doesn’t work well for you you can search for crochet pineapple stitch and should find other tutorials, maybe video even.
