I can’t seem to understand on how to do a “bee stitch” I found the instructions
on the bee stitch cloth and the page that has the picture on how to insert the needle into the row below…but then what? If I knit into the row below, and pull the yarn through, I still have the stitch on the left needle that should be knitted. Ingrid, on another thread, you said that you knit both the row below and the stitch on the left needle at the same time. I’m definitely confused and I know that I’m making it harder than it really is. Is there a video out there somewhere that will show the steps after inserting the needle into the row below? Or can someone help me? :wall:
Need help on the bee stitch
I saw that link. You insert the needle into the row below like the picture. Then you wrap the yarn around the needle and pull it through like a regular knit stitch. What do you do with the stitch that is on the left needle that you would have regularly knitted for this stitch?
You just slide it off when the other stitch is done, I believe.
Thanks Ingrid! I just got done knitting a few rows. The V’s are there…but I have to practice to get my stitches even. It looks pretty sloppy. I did it on my straight needles. After you got me started on Audi turbos…is there any other needle?? Sure don’t like the straights anymore. Thanks again Ingrid! Appreciate your advice!
