You would have to look for a yarn that has a nice sheen, in that case. It could come from it being superwash, smoothly spun (worsted spun), or even the addition of silk. Unfortunately, this isn’t really an attribute that you can search on anywhere, unless it is mentioned in a review or yarn description from the retailer.
I would suggest contacting your LYS or your usual online retailer and asking the staff for recommendations for “a DK yarn with a nice sheen to it” if you can’t go and look at yarn in person.
Or you could start a new thread here (to catch people’s eye) asking for that recommendation. Make sure to include which country you live in so you get recommendations that will be easily available. Hope you find something nice!
