Neck's best thing II?

Here is today’s project! I got this amazing hand-spun and hand-dyed yarn on my trip to Austin a couple of weeks ago. It is by Ozark Handspun in Jefferson City, MO. Says it is 50% wool, 50% mohair, not sure if you can see the amazing watermelon red/green colors, also sky blue and several darker shades of green. There are tufts of what must be mohair that is amazingly silky, as well as fluffy wool pieces sort of hanging on to the yarn.

I made it with size 17 needles in knit 1 purl 1 rib. Since i only had one hank (it is $26 a hank!! ) It came out too short for a scarf, so I crochet slip stitched it together at the ends. It reminds me a bit of a pattern I saw called neck’s best thing but I think I like this better since it is closer around the neck to approximate the way a longer scarf would lie.

Cool! It reminds me of a moebius scarf. Looks nice, thick, and warm.

Nice!

That’s really pretty! It looks so cozy and warm.

Very clever! :happydance:
