Knitting garter Squares to make a throw. I want to use mattress stitch when joining all the individual Squares. I’ve enclosed pic of a square with edges (this forms due to increasing and decreasing when knitting the triangles). Do I incorporate the whole edging when using mattress stitch? This would make my Squares slightly smaller? Hope you can understand my explanation. Any advice would be appreciated.
Very pretty square. Yes, seaming will make the square slightly smaller. Here’s a video for seaming garter stitch on the diagonal.
