On this blog: http://bloominknitiot.blogspot.com/ there’s an entry for Wednesday, February 01, 2006 that shows a cute little change purse that I’d love to make with leftover yarns. I’ve looked on the Patons website (www.patonsyarn.com), but I can’t figure out exactly which booklet might have it. Does anyone have a clue?
I suggest you write to the blog owner and ask her which booklet it is. There are so many it would be hard to find a specific one, although not impossible as you can look at other patterns in the booklet, too.
I emailed her and haven’t heard anything yet (not that she’s had much time to reply), but I think I finally found it. There’s a change purse pattern in Patons #500210 Knit and Crochet Felting that looks just like it - it must be the one, and I’m ordering it! :happydance:
I’m curious to know if you found out what book the coin purse pattern was in. I’m doing felted purses and using the left over yarn to make a coin purse for each purse would be great.
This isn’t a felted coin purse pattern but it sure is
CUTE
Skater,
Yep, that book has a cute little coin purse in it. I made it, but it was too big for my clasp, so I need to redo it. I made it with the left over yarn from the contrasting color of the purse on the back cover. Very cute! I’m making that purse for everyone I know right now (although I’ve had enough stockinette for a while!) I had a hard time finding a clasp, so this post might help if you are having trouble finding one. Good luck!! Post pics when you are done! I never posted pics, because I was never really finished since mine was too big!!
ok because I am the laziest girl ever, I ordered a kit from ebay that had the pattern - I figured I would use the pattern a ton for leftovers…
have not received yet but I think it will be great
those of you who are crafty and have time can probably figure it out yourselves but I am way short of time right now.
