Here is the booties and hat I recently knit for a friend of mine who had a baby girl named Mya. They are knit from Cascade Fixation which is a cotton/spandex blend 95/5. I really like knitting with it and have bought several boy colors for the new little guy who gets here in March. When I get back from Hawaii, I will be teaching myself how to knit little baby socks!

Thanks Ingrid…I did too! The boy colors I have are some really neat greens and blues. I already did a blue one, but like an idiot already wrapped it for Christmas without taking a picture! It was different shades of blues and I thought would turn out striped like this, but it looked like mottled water colors when it was finished…almost tie dyed.

I love these! I also like the non-pastel colors. I am not a pastel person, so I always get strange looks when I give baby gifts that are darker or deeper in color. These are beautiful. Great job. :cheering:
