After seeing every ones stash pictures I had to add to mine I ordered the sampler of simple stripes sock yarn that is 16 balls  Oh lord what have I done!!!
You’ve done the right thing, trust me. :rofling: Hope you like knitting socks!!
I have only done one pair but I want to learn the 2 at once toe up pattern
The best part will be when you see the box in your mailbox/on your step. I get so excited when I get new yarn in the mail! Silly, but true!
I am already waiting anxiously trust me my husbank is going to build me a wooden chest for my yarn too I am thinking cedar I have so much to wait for I hate waiting.
Me, too! I have a window box that’s lined with cedar. It leaves a really strong smell on the blankets and things I put in there. So much so that I have to wash them before they’re used. Something to keep in mind.
Good call Ingrid I have a thing for strong smells thanks for the heads up .
I placed my first order with Knitpicks and was so pleased with the rapid delivery of my items. I received my order in less than a week-and that was because of a Monday holiday!
I ordered 7 skeins of sock yarn…but I have a feeling there will be more ordered in the near future! :XX:
I was || this close to ordering the sampler pack…however I thought it better I knit my first pair of socks before ordering the sampler pack.
I have become SCARILY addicted to yarn. I buy more than my hands can knit.
I now have enough yarn for at least 5 projects. I only started knitting 8 months ago.
Yarn buying is a sickness. I am currently awaiting a shipment from KnitPicks.
It’s ok though, we are all with you on buying yarn…
Currently, my love is yarn. I am refraining from purchasing the hand dyed yarn from my LYS. It is SO beautiful. I don’t know how I will not buy it.
I am waiting for an order right now! I just got their latest catalog and fell in love with the “Tulip and Gingham” socks on the cover! So I ordered all the yarns and the instructions!! Plus ordered some solid colored yarn to knit my dh a pair of socks. :XX: :XX:
Take advantage of the FREE pattern downloads that they show in their catalog too. :happydance:
wow. I haven’t ordered from knitpicks in almost 2 months  this reminds me that I need to get back on the wagon!!!
So should I order from knitpicks?? (That’s a dumb question to ask. Lol). :??
You should DEFINATELY order from KnitPicks. They have GREAT knitting notions and yarn(wich, by the way, is made form natural fibers)!!! :happydance: :XX:
okay i read “yarnwich” there and was trying to decide how to make a yarnwich…
whatever it is, it is a happy creation in my head!
Speaking of Knitpicks, have y’all gotten the new catalog yet? Man, if that doesn’t make you want to buy tons of sock yarn, I don’t know what will. :rofling:
That’s what they’re there for!
Btw, is their catalog free? I went to the website, but there were some that you have to purchase. (I love free knitting catalogs!)
Their catalog is free. I started receiving them about every month or so after I placed my first order…
Oh ok. I’ll have to order some more yarn then! I need to add more to my stash, anyway. Woo hoo!
I just received my first order from knitpicks. I got some yarn for a sweater I am going to make for my nephew and some yarn to try to make my first socks with. I was so excited to see it on the front porch when I came home from running errands, I had to open it up immediately and feel all of it!
