Come to my blog (link below) to see it! It’s the tahki double eyelet rib tank.
That’s GORGEOUS!
It looks great on you too! ![]()
Jenelle, are you kidding? ha ha! did you actually see it?
Sexay!!! :eyebrow:
No, I’m not kidding! Yes! It’s the peach-colored lacy tank top. ![]()
Well, it certainly is pretty! I love the pattern and the color. Do you have a friend who it would fit that you could give it to?
I think you should wear it more like a vest, like over a crisp white shirt, I think it would look great that way!
It’s really beautiful work – I think it’s great that you dove right in and made an adult sweater – I haven’t had the guts to do that yet! I agree with gardenmommy, though – I think that it would look beautiful over a white shirt – plus, then it could be worn more than just during the warmer weather!!
So pretty! Any chance you can shrink it? I think it would look great with a tank top under it too or as as a layering piece with a shirt as others suggested.
:roflhard: Or just wear it for your S.O. …mine would love that :eyebrow:
I think you did a great job!! Bravo. I think that if you layered it, it would like nice also.
I think it’s GORGEOUS! I agree with layering, too…layering tanks is very popular these days.
I am really surprised at the positive reactions I am receiving here. I thought it looked awful! Well, the stitches looked nice, but as far as the fit… well, that’s another story.
I was thinking that maybe I could take the straps in an inch. I’ll have my mother sew them in one inch then I can just cut the excess. Has anyone ever done that? I have read in Stephanie Pearl McPhee’s books she has done it successfully, so long as the sewn edges are tight!
it can work for some things Jamie…do a search for steeking
steeking? Is that what its called to sew and cut?
