Hi everyone. Since getting hired on by Hancock Fabrics to teach courses, I’ve been busy knitting samples, making a website, ordering business cards and composing class supply lists. It’s been a bit crazy.
I decided to name the business Addicted to the Knit, and had a professional photographer take photos of a skein of Malabrigo. After he messed with it a bit in Photoshop, here’s what he came up with. And by the way, it’s not easy making yarn look great to the general public!!!
Once the website looks good, I’ll post the link here and you guys can give me lots of honest knitterly criticism.
Rebecca, I thought of you when I made the name and hoped it wouldn’t be a problem.
The greenery idea was mine, thank you for all the compliments. I wanted to post the original picture to give you an idea of how much work went into the final shot. Compare it to the final picture!
The photographer who did it normally shoots gorgeous men - so yarn was a bit of a change for him!
It is a beautiful logo pic, but you could have included some of those gorgeous men! Congrat on going out on your own and much much success with it! We look forward to your website!
I think it is great. It is calming and that’s what I knit for…calm. the green along with the autum-loke yarn colors make me feel good. :happydance:
