The only real reservation I had about this pattern was it’s “boxy” shape. I prefer sweaters fitting my shape rather than making me look boxy. Oh well, I’m still learning and I’ll make sure to look for more shaped patterns in the future. Was a joy to use the Silkroad Aran Tweed though…gorgeous colour!

Trish…it wasn’t a difficult pattern at all…all knits & purls and increases/decreases. It knit up relatively quickly too!

Hi kitkat…I started knitting in December of 2004 and my first project was a garter stitch scarf. I have just recently started garments…about the summer of last year.
Not too sure about “professional” looking but I’m working on it…I get a wee bit better with each finished garment…and also learn more with each one too.
