Moss stitch help pls

Hi there,

I’m just working on my 1st project after a 2 year hiatus from trying to learn to knit…In any case, I’m trying to make a scarf for my Dad & I’m just doing a moss stitch for the whole scarf. I’d appreciate any help with my 2 questions:

  1. Do I just join a new ball of yarn the same way as I would do with a garter stitch/stockinette stitch?
  2. Is there anywhere where I can see a video clip of how to darn in the ends with moss stitch?

Sorry if these questions are repetitive/have obvious answers. I’m really not great at knitting & I haven’t had a chance to search through the forum yet…

TIA.

Yeah, you would just join in a new ball the same way. You just weave in the ends of the yarn as you normally would, as far as I know.
Don’t worry about not being great. You’ll get better in time. Just keep on trying. If you need any help, we’re here.

thanks for the advice & encouragement!
