Me and my life

Hi guys I think it’s about time you know me. This is my life story and who taught me how to knit and crochet.

When I was 5 years old I was fascinated in watching my mother crocheting so I had asked to teach me. The knitting is self taught. I had started with something very simple working with odd needles and it came out too big, so I left and started another project. That came out better. I have been knitting for 25 years now for myself and family.

Now we come about me, me growing up and where I came originally come from.

I lived in Rushden that’s in Northampton district. I was schooling in wellingborough that’s the next town from Rushden. When I was 16 we the family decided to move to Birmingham where my mothers family, she wanted to be nearer to them. My childhood which I didn’t much of. My parents were always fighting so in the end they got divorce.

My father moved to Great Yarmouth and 2 years later I had joined him. I lived there for 11 years and hated it there the people were so rude towards me I tried to make friends but they didn’t want to know me because I had a slightly B’ham accent so I was class as an outsider.

I meet my hubby in a pub and weeks later we got in engaged, then 5 months later we got married and we are still going strong after 21 years of marriage.

I have no children I couldn’t have any. That did bother me in big time but I’ve come to accept it.

Now I live in Lowestoft just 2 miles away from the beach and I love it here.

Well that is it.
