Man's Half Zip Pullover Pattern?

Hi,

I’m looking for a man’s half zip pullover pattern. It will be the first sweater that I’ve knit for my husband, and I want it to look great. :cool:

I looked on knittngpatterncentral.com and only found one and I wasn’t too fond of the ribbing. I’ve searched Ravelry’s patterns and no luck. My Googling hasn’t been successful either.

There’s mention of one in the knitting book “Never Knit a Man a Sweater (Unless You’ve Got a Ring),” called Half-Zip Pullover, but I can’t find a picture of it. Does anyone know where I could see a pic?

I have found a few full zipper patterns I like, but I haven’t had enough sweater experience to convert to half-zipper.
Any help would be [B]greatly[/B] appreciated! :muah:

There’s a pullover in a pattern book I have from Paton’s, called “Zip Neck Pullover”. It’s Pattern 3 in this book, called “Weekend Retreat”. I’m not sure if it’s what you’re looking for, but here’s a lonk to the picture. It’s the third one down from the top.

Thanks for the link! That’s exactly what I was looking for, but unfortunately, the pattern only goes up to size L! My husband is definitely a 2XL. :lol:

I think I’m going to bite the bullet and try and make it without a pattern. :zombie:

I’ve decided to go with this half zip sweater pattern from www.garnstudio.com. Now I just need to figure out what yarn I’ll be using, as there’s no way I’d knit my husband anything in wool. His garments need to be machine washable! :lol:
