This topic has been raised a few times on KH and I thought this such a good little YouTube vid about it (and note the classy way the copyright is handled) :). The guys who have been this video together have some wonderful project instructions for silk screening and so on.
Great idea! I’d use freezer paper instead of wax paper, tho. It’d make great lining for purses, beach bags, etc.:happydance:
I thought the same thing re wet packs and beach gear.
(Sorry for typos earlier)
Why the freezer paper do you think - it wouldn’t stick to a hot iron?
Wow.
It would be sooo cool to make a backpack like that. xD
I cant sew though. and I’m not even sure we have an iron. o.o;
I love this idea, but I wish my Publix had white bags instead of this ugly tan/brown color.
Pretty clever.
Yes, exactly. Freezer paper’s waxed on only one side. Better for the iron, I’d think.
Indeed…good point.
I started knitting with plastic bags a few months ago to make a beach bag for my mom’s birthday. I had to quit because the plastic bags were making my hands break out in hives.:ick:
Misty
Well, the technique the guys show may be a way you could make the bag without all the hand touching knitting requires Terrible when that happens (hives I mean).
