Make yourself at home in my knitting yarn bag. Don’t be shy.
That’ll teach me to leave it out.
I’m uber paranoid with WIPs, stash and tools due to:
Baby
2 year old
Stepson
Cat

Awww! He’s comfy! I have a bag that zips and a small one that ties shut. I don’t allow cats to play with yarn (it’s dangerous) and my kids are grown.
But Moooo-oooommm, it’s warm. and soft. and smells like you!
It’s all scraps, failed projects, and stuff meant to be unraveled and redone as cat blankets anyway. He just beat me to it.
I love it! Very cute photo and an adorable cat.
This reminds me of something from my childhood. My Grandma had a wooden chest where she stored blankets… handmade quilts and afghans. That wooden chest was my favorite place to curl up, burrow in and read.
… Thanks for that memory.

Back off, lady. It’s mine and you ain’t touchin’ it.
One of my cats decided to attack and play with a ball of yarn when I was gone for the weekend. My neighbor who was feeding her for me left the wonderful work of art she created all over the living room and dining room for me to see when I got home. The cat was definitely creative!!! Now I’m very careful to have all the yarn I’m working with at the moment secured before I leave for any length of time.
Kitties are so funny! I had a customer a few years ago who owned a big old furry cat. He would make a “bed” in my open briefcase every time I turned my back! The briefcase would be sitting on the floor by my easel…so I could quickly grab sales invoices, pens, etc…and I’d turn around…WHERE IS MY BRIEFCASE??? Well this ole furry bugger would be overflowing the edges of my briefcase, almost completely hiding it! LOL!
I do love cats! Still.
I remember I had one cat who managed to get a brand new ball of KP Chroma out of the closet in my bedroom. I don’t know how he managed it, because both my bedroom door AND closet door were closed. Anyway, he had that yarn tangled around the legs of folding chair…and just everywhere. I was so mad. He’s lucky he was such a cute kitty lol.
