Magnolia sweater

I’m unclear what this means for the increase rounds. Can anyone help? The pattern is Magnolia by Camilla Vad.

It looks like the increases should all align with the previous increase rounds rather than be shifted to a different alignment or random placement.
In the main body of the pattern, it should tell you the exact placement of the increases in the round. Does the pattern specify this placement?

Beautiful pattern.

It gives instructions for the specific increase rounds, but it also reiterates this increase instruction, so it’s freaking me out.

I’m marking the second size.

Thanks for helping me with this!

Follow the directions for the increase row repeats.
K4, increase for the Inc rnd 2. K2, increase, K3 for Inc rnd 3.
The placement will give you the shift.
I don’t know how that reconciles with the earlier instruction not to stagger the increases but there you go.
Are the increases charted with the pattern? That may also help you keep track of where to place them.

Hello! I’m on round 43 of the yoke and am so confused. There should be 25 stitches in each section but when I follow the instructions I end up with 24 stitches. Am I supposed to slip that first stitch in each round after I k2tog or is that just for the very beginning? When I do follow the instructions for the first repeat, the following 7 repeats are short by 1 stitch… help! There seems to be no way to contact the designer.

The chart shifts over one stitch at round 43. The notes for Round 43 are explained in the Ravelry projects page by simone-knits here:

See if that helps and if not come back and let us know.

Yes thank you so much. That helps a lot!
