I am knitting the Hot Lava sweater & want to make sure I am not making mistakes!!! The technique is Magic loop & as I am doing the pattern it looks like the sleeve is inside out. is that right??
IE… pattern called for a seed cuff & then round of st st, then all knit rounds. so the inside is the right side, right??
No, you’re just knitting inside out, which can happen when you’re first starting something. Sometimes my hats flip inside out in the middle of knitting them. It’s okay, you can flip it outside in now if you want (the needle tips you’re working on should be toward you, not away from you) or wait until you’ve got more length on the sleeve, which should keep it from flipping around on you.
btw, when you knit all rounds in a circle, that is stockinette stitch.
