Hi,
I am a new knitter and I am having trouble with the magic loop method. I am starting to think that the problem may be with the cords on my needles. The cords are pretty thick and while I like the set, I find that when I set up for magic loop knitting, the cords resist each other so to speak. They don’t just sit limply together. I know that practice is needed, but any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for replying to my question. I read through the link you posted and decided to buy a couple of Knitters Pride colorplay Interchangables from Hobby Lobby. I am very happy that I did. Big difference . I will be going back for more. Lol, I feel like I’m cheating on my Denise needles😁.
There is an excellent video on Utube called “Getting Started With Magic Loop” by the Nervous Knitted. She teaches this type of knitting that works very well for beginners. She emphasizes areas that can be pitfalls to this type of knitting. I’m a seasoned knitted & it helped me quite a bit. Good luck!
