M1P....anyone?

Make 1 purl…
is there any video that is equal to this stitch?
It is explained as such:
Make one stitch on the WS by picking up the yarn between the two stitches so that the back leg is closest to the end of the LH needle, then purling through the front leg of the loop.

I’m thinking that it’s like the video for M1F, only I’m purling through the back??

the stitch? Your pattern might need it done a specific way, and I may be completely wrong, but it’s a thought.

Hmm…

Yeah you know BOO, I thought the same thing so I figured, HEY I’ll jump in and try it and as long as I repeat it the same way each time it will look fine…AND IT DOES!
This increase of the M1P on the WS works in conjunction with a plain old M1 on the RS and is the increase for a curved shoulder cap of the cardi I’m working on.
It’s the first cardi I found that I can do in one piece and not have to attach pieces together when done. I’m quite petite and for some reason sweaters and cardi’s with sewn together pieces make me look like a football player! HAHAHA
BTW, your cat is aborable! THANKS!
