Bigmama suggested Pacific Fabric’s in Issaquah. I know the area she is referring to, and that sounds like a good option too. I’m familiar with the Pacific Fabrics in Seattle (near Northgate mall) and I’ve gotten excellent help from them. My only thought is that it seems like they are a little pricier than Michael’s but still sounds like a very good option too …
suspect the Veradale option you got on page one is going to be easier. I have no idea where Veradale, Washington is, but there’s no doubt in my mind that it will be less congested than anything in Bellevue or Seattle. I simply would not try to drive a “big rig” around the city of seattle, though I’d consider it in Bellevue because the streets tend to be wider and more vehicle friendly generally.
Veradale is a part of the Spokane Valley. The address given is not too far from the freeway, but the cross street is Sullivan Rd and it can be very busy. The Spokane Valley Mall is across the freeway a bit and if Mason’s up for a bit of a walk, it would be better to park in the mall area and hike across. Looks like it’s about a mile.
Mason,
There are Michael’s and Joann’s all over the Seattle area. In Bellevue, you’ll find Hilltop Yarns East: http://www.hilltopyarneast.com/.
I was just there the other day and can’t stop thinking about how wonderful it was.
It’s just a few miles north of I-90. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll drive over on Monday (I work really close to Bellevue) and check out some parking options for you.
I appreciate all of the helpful info, but between mechanical problems and some bad weather I’m now not going to have that extra shopping time that I was planning on. :pout:
