Lopi pattern

Does anyone know where to find pattern amendments for the lopi books in English? Thanks

Is it a specific pattern you want info for? I don’t know of any place for the entire book. If you give us a book and pattern name we may be able to help.

It’s book 34, project 9 Garri. I have resolved the problem the best way I
could, but believe there is a fault in the instructions for the sleeve
stitch count. I’m knitting size XXL. To start the chart it says I should
have 41 stitches, but the pattern doesn’t fit on 41 stitches. it does work
on 42 stitches so I have done it that way and will remove the extra stitch
when I finish the sleeve chart. I’m not mathematically minded and I’m
concerned that where there is one snag more usually follow, and I might not
be able to fathom the next one. I shouldn’t worry, if I get stuck I will
ask for help. Thank you for your reply

Hello

I have just started the Garri pattern and like you I am having a problem. I am knitting the XL size for the sleeves but the pattern repeat does not match the number of stitches. You said that you added an extra stitch to knit the pattern then would cast off the extra stitch. Did this work ok?

Kindest regards

Welcome to KH!

Beautiful pattern. @gezhudson Did your fix work on the sleeve?

Hello

So very kind of you to reply so quickly. I emailed the company in Iceland where I bought the pattern and yarn from but had no reply which is so disappointing. Thank you very much.

you are welcome. I seem to pick a lot of patterns with errors, too many really. I thought they checked them. The finished garri sweater looked amazing on my son. I just finished the frost pattern for my youngest son, there are no errors in that pattern. i used Katia peru yarn for the frost sweater, its softer. x

It is annoying when a pattern has errors but as the Garri pattern has been out quite some time, I would have thought that they would have added an erratum to newer prints of the pattern, as well as putting details on their site. I had a look at the Frost pattern maybe a future project seeing as you did not find any errors. Happy knitting.
