I am looking for authors to add to my collection of knitting books for baby/toddler. My favorite authors are: Debbie Bliss, Zoe Mellor, Lois Daykin, Family Circle and Katia Publications. Any ideas for good quality yarn for baby and the best web sites for patterns. Thank you, diane[/FONT]:knitting:
Susan Anderson’s books are lovely: Itty Bitty Hats and Itty Bitty Nursery. I think that she’s coming out with another, though.
I love Debbie Bliss’ baby patterns.
I like Debbie Bliss as well
Thank you. I will search the web for her books.
Here is a free Debbie Bliss Sweater Pattern. I’m also going to be doing this as an 8 week class with my online knitting class.
Sirdar makes lovely baby and children patterns. I use them alot. Also have you looked in their Sublime pattern books. Lovely
I love Debbie Bliss, too, but my other recommendation would be for The Yarn Girls. Their book, “The Yarn Girls Guide to Kid Knits” is full of cute things that are relatively easy to knit – lots of adorable sweaters, especially. And as the little ones grow, they’ve got a book of patterns for bigger kids.
