Looking for the Alan Dart Noah's Ark Pattern

I bought a knitting magazine today, and they had featured a gorgeous set of toys in a Noah’s Ark pattern by Alan Dart.

The pattern was included free in the last issue of the knitting mag, however, it is a UK mag, and I can’t backorder to here in Australia.

If anyone was lucky enough to get it, if you could let me know I’d be more than happy to pay costs to have it sent here. Thank you! :muah:

I have a Noah’s Ark pattern by Alan Dart, but mine was in the September 2007 issue of Simply Knitting. Is this the pattern you are talking about? You can order back issues of Simply Knitting and they will mail it to you in Australia. (I’m not aware of any other Noah’s Ark pattern by Alan Dart.)

I just orderd the “Irresistable Gifts” book which includes the Noah’s Ark pattern as well as 50 other Alan Dart patterns. They ship all over.

Alan just published Noah’s Ark in his softbound book, “Irresistible Gifts to knit.” I’m sure that you can order it in a book store in Austraillia. The isbn#1-858702-70-4. Hope this helps. Also, you can go to www.alandart.co.uk as he will have downloadable patterns soon.

In the US[I], Irresistible Gifts to Knit [/I]is for sale in some of the Barnes and Noble and Borders, magazine section. Apparently it is selling for $19.99 ~ but, it’s not in a Barnes and Noble or Borders near me.

I saw Irresistible Gifts to Knit in Chapters (Canada) the other day but I think it was about $29.

I just checked on Ravelry and the price for the bookazine is $19.99 (US$).

[I]Simply Knitting[/I] was/is also more expensive in Canada - we pay $9.99 here and I picked up a copy at Chapters last fall and paid $14.95 or $15.95 (don’t recall exact price) - the Cdn dollar was higher than the US dollar. (I also gasped at the price of the Harry Potter book!)
