Looking for men's argyle sweater pattern

I’ve heard mention of the boyfriend sweater, but I managed to hook this one, and after many months of teasing (“Why do you only knit things without sleeves? Where’s the sleeves on that thing? Poncho? That’s so 80s!”) my DH has actually asked me to knit him a sweater. Thing is, he wants something very specific: argyle. Now I know that doesn’t sound to difficult to find since this pattern is ubiquitous in men’s fashion, but for some reason, Google pulls up nothing.

Can anyone help with a lead to a good argyle sweater pattern for men? Preferably V-neck or crew - my man is a no-neck/no-turtleneck kinda guy.

Thanks loads!

Oh, and if it makes any difference, he’s a golfer and wants to wear the darned garment out on the links…

Does he have a sense of humor? This guy is playing golf in it!

I suppose you could add sleeves to make it a sweater…

I saw that one! And I liked it a lot. I really thought it was a winner, especially since the guy was golfing. But I showed it to DH and he nay-sayed it. Grrrr! But thanks for the link; I may just end up maing one for him if I can’t find anything more traditional.

Ugh! That thing is Hideous!

couldnt you just change the colors to match his tastes?

Here’s a chart for an argyle pattern

Maybe you could just pick a sweater he likes and add the chart?

there’s another chart here, albeit it was for socks:

Here’s a book that says it has argyle sweater patterns in it:

Good luck with this!
