I have looked and looked on the web and can’t find anything I like. I prefer to knit in the round. I need something for my grandson, preferably with ear flaps, or just a beanie cap style.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
MP

Use a hat pattern for a year old size, that should work for this winter.
Did you look thru the patterns at lionbrand.com? I found this cute ear flap hat - http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/60198AD.html?noImages= There are plenty more there, too
Here’s a few patterns to check out. Ribbed hats are especially adaptable to various sizes.

Without the flowers this could be a boy hat.
