GREAT JOB ON THAT THONG! It's such a special colour, the lace is so pretty/sexy. I just adore it. I vacillate between loving thongs and hating them. In the summer under certain tight fitting dresses/pants they make a lot of sense and there's no riding up like with reg panties. But while they're comfortable for about the first 2 hours there comes a time when they've got to come off. :teehee: But! I want to make one now that I've seen this one and of course Mwedzis. they're just so pretty.

The comments about thongs in general crack me up. I worked at VS for years and came out a devoted thong girl. For some who never have tried them they imagine it being so uncomfortable…but they are definitely more comfortable than having all the fabric that was meant to cover your whole booty in there!

She has an awesome figure and is a card carrying advocate of thong wearing.:rollseyes: My brother is mildly horrified not only that I carried this knitting project to his home (my visits there are my knitting vacations) but that there is a 150% chance our mother will wear them and discuss it in great detail.:teehee:
I have pics but my computer area is a mess so I haven’t gotten a thing downloaded yet. I did one in a cream 100% Jaeger silk and one in black bamboo. The bamboo was like knitting with 10ply embroidery floss…very nice when done almost said, “in the end” but very splitty. How many people can say they have bamboo up their wazoo?:roflhard:
If I had the bod, I would be all about thongs. But, alas, I spend my life trying to keep the undies out of there…
I’ve just read this thread and have been laughing my a**e off, until the point BinkyKat wrote, ‘wazoo’, at which point I sprayed coffee all over my monitor! Never heard that one before!
I love the thong, if your lokking for nice underwear to knit, ‘Naughty Needles’ is a good book.
Oh and you CAN’T [I]knit[/I] a corset, you can knit a bodice, a corset is a whole different thing, (trust me I’m an expert on corsets, I love them, I can now get down to 16 1/2 inch waist on mine)
Very nice job, I can think of a couple of women who’d love me for ages for knitting them a few of these. Though I’m of the opinion that there is no such thing as too much information

Kemp, you are absolutely correct. I used to make the same comments about “floss” undies until I tried a pair. They are definately more comfortable than constantly digging/adjusting briefs or bikinis.

I really love it! It’s really sexy…But as many have noticed before - 2 hours tops in there is enough :rofling:. That’s the trouble with thongs in hot climat - everything is sweaty and i mean - everything :shock:…But it would make a lovely gift to my sister…
