Is there anyone who can help with the Lion Brand Pattern L00043 Strawberry Pink Sideways cardigan and hat. I have followed the pattern to the finish of the right front yoke but struggling to know where to pick up stitches for the left hand yoke. I think I have done it wrong as I cannot visualise how it works.

You don’t need to pick up sts for the left front yoke. Cast on the given number of sts for your size then knit for the appropriate length. (The schematic at the beginning of the pattern is a help.)
After you reach the length for the left yoke you’ll join to the back yoke.
What @salmonmac said, but in slightly different words.
You’re going to cast on the left front (as a separate piece) and knit until it’s the same size as the right front, and then join up with the back stitches that are on a holder. You’ll then knit across both the front and back yoke and continue on to end of the left sleeve.
Lay your knitting on a table in the same orientation as the schematic, and maybe that will help you visualize where you are in this project.
