Latifa scarf

The ruffles -

This is what you’re letting yourself into: (see below)

Is it worth it? JUST!

You need to take your time, relax and concentrate - no interruptions!

Won’t be doing this again in a hurry.

Enjoy

Tamar, that looks like it’s coming along great! I cut and paste a picture of my idea of modifying the latifa to uneven blocks of color and got the following. I decided random widths wasn’t what I wanted, but am doing full widths of black and grey and half-widths of yellow and maroon. When I’ve gotten a bit farther, I’ll post a picture of it so far.

I did post a finished photo of my daughter’s button scarf if you want to see what was holding up my latifah work.

I’m almost half way through with the ruffles.

It looks fabulous!!!

I still haven’t started mine- I got the yarn for it though, I am a terrific shopper

Finished! At last.

I’m very happy with it except for the royal blue which makes the scarf too bright. I think that it would have been better with only the purple, navy blue and olive green.

Oh that is so beautiful!! Great job on that!! :inlove:

That is so pretty! You did a neat job!

Tamar, you did a fabulous job. I understand what you mean about the blue being a different hue - but I love the color.

p.s. I’m still only about half way done with the color block stuff.

Looks great!! :inlove:
